Scarlett Johansson's "Iron Man" dalliance appears to be over. For now.
The actress -- who plays Black Widow in the Marvel universe and has a sizable role in "Marvel's The Avengers" -- co-starred in "Iron Man 2," but likely won't appear in "Iron Man 3."

DiNovis directed the 1998 film "Surrender Dorothy," which featured the first ever big-screen performance from Banks -- who was credited in the film as "Elizabeth Casey." In a recent interview with Slate.com, Banks said the experience was something of an ordeal.
"Really early on, I did this one movie -- I think it's called 'Surrender Dorothy,' I'm not even sure anymore," Banks said when asked about her biggest career mistake. After the lead actor in the film dropped out to take what Banks called a "real job" [complete with air quotes], DiNovis took over.
"The writer/director played the lead role, as well, because there was no one else to do it! And he wasn't a real actor. It was just one of those, 'What am I doing here?'" Banks said, before adding that the experience left her "grateful" because of what she learned from the process.
"I hadn't even gone to drama school. I was still a college student, actually," she said. "And I thought, 'I'd better go to drama school and learn how to never have this job again.'"
It's that quote that really irked DiNovis. Responding to Banks' semi-slam in an interview with THR, DiNovis said the actress was out of line.
"I'm shocked and deeply hurt by Ms. Banks' comments, and confused as to how she could consider her first break -- in Hollywood or anywhere -- as a career mistake," DiNovis said. "What exactly does she mean by 'this type of job'? Because there she seems to insult not just my work, but rather the entire American independent film movement." DiNovis equated Banks' comments as someone "firing cannons at a butterfly."
Huffington Post has reached out to Banks' representatives for comment.
"Surrender Dorothy" is a comedy-drama about a heroin addict. The film was called "seriously f--ked up" by one reviewer on Rotten Tomatoes.

Not only is Katy Perry's tune "Part Of Me" not about ex Russell Brand, but the singer recently revealed that she was told to lie about it.
"Some people that I work with were like 'You should say you wrote it a couple weeks ago,'" Perry said of the her emotional Grammys tune, according to MTV news. "I'm like, 'I'm not a douchebag. I'm going to tell the truth."
Perry's lyrics, "You can keep the diamond ring/It don't mean nothing anyway/ In fact, you can keep everything -- except for me," seemed to line up perfectly with her December split from husband Russell Brand, but Perry said the song was written back in 2010.
"It feels like my life plays out with these songs," she said. "I feel like I'm in some kind of weird 'Truman Show' where I'm like, 'Why is this single appropriate now and it wouldn't have been appropriate then?' It's just so crazy."
“It seems very serendipitous, but, as un-fun as it sounds, I prepare everything,” Perry continued. “I’m overly prepared and kind of a control freak in the best of ways.”

Lindsay Lohan's 'SNL' Monologue: Star Pokes Fun At Herself (VIDEO)

After years of being in the spotlight for her personal issues and not her work, Lindsay Lohan bit the bullet and spearheaded her own comeback Saturday night by not only hosting "SNL," but poking fun at herself in the opening monologue. Whether it was her court-mandated ankle monitor, her sobriety, or her relationship with Sam Ronson, everything seemed to be fair game for the actress. And with surprise celebrity guests like Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm, it certainly made for a memorable opening.
Under the humor, though, there was an obvious sense of support both from the cast and the crowd. At no moment was it more evident than Kristin Wiig saying, "Everybody here believes in you. Everyone. We wouldn't have you back otherwise," only to be met by applause that went well beyond a response to a prompt light.
Whether the appearance will give Lohan's career the kickstart it needs is still to be seen, but if there's one thing America loves, it's an underdog.

Katy Perry, Movie Star? Harvey Weinstein Wants Singer For Paul Potts Bio

Harvey Weinstein really wants to get into the Katy Perry business. During a pre-Oscar party at Soho House in Los Angeles, Weinstein was talking to Perry about co-starring in new drama about British opera singer and reality television star, Paul Potts.
"I was talking to Katy about a new project, a possible dramatic role in the Paul Potts movie, which will be shooting in England soon," Weinstein told Page Six. "We'd really like someone like Katy or Adele to play the role of Potts' wife, and Katy seemed genuinely interested."
What makes that sorta funny? Potts's real-life wife, Julie-Ann, isn't a singer at all.
As for Paul Potts himself, if the names sounds familiar-ish, perhaps that's because you are one of the 89 million YouTube users who watched the former mobile phone salesman sing "Nessun Dorma" on "Britain's Got Talent." Potts went on to win the reality competition, which launched him to international fame.
This isn't the first time Weinstein has courted Perry for something. Last year, Weinstein said he wanted Perry to play Marilyn Monroe in a stage version of "My Week With Marilyn." He also used her song, "The One That Got Away," during marketing for "Marilyn." Guy really loves "Teenage Dream," apparently. (Who doesn't, but still.)

Jack White returned to NBC’s Saturday Night Live tonight for his first appearance on the show since the White Stripes promoted White Blood Cells on the long-running sketch comedy program back in 2002. Now with a debut solo LP in tow, White chose a set list that echoed that year’s quite a bit, following up those decade-old performances of the blistering “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” and more hushed “We’re Going to Be Friends,” with his low-key lead single, “Love Interruption,” and our first taste of the thrilling, high-octane new number “Sixteen Saltines.”
Watch White unveil Blunderbuss with an all-female band on the former and all-male ensemble rocking the latter below:

Swedish pop songstress Robyn brought a pair of singles from her 2010 Body Talk trilogy to NYC’s Rockefeller Center for an episode of the long-running sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live last night. Hosted by her ex-tour partner/fellow pop star Katy Perry, she unleashed inspired takes on two of her catchiest numbers to date, “Call Your Girlfriend” and “Dancing On My Own,” complete with costume changes, a few of her signature dance steps, and a set of perhaps the highest platform shoes to grace the 30 Rock stage since the ’70s. Without further ado, get your blood pumping by revisiting both of Robyn’s SNL performances below:
